Full Paver Restoration and Sealing

Stripping, deep cleaning, sanding and sealing for heavily worn or failed pavers

When pavers are heavily worn, stained, or sealed improperly, a simple cleaning and sealing is not enough. Full paver restoration is the process of removing failed sealer, deep cleaning the surface, and rebuilding the system the right way.

At N&T Wash and Seal, we specialize in restoring pavers using a detailed process designed to correct previous issues and deliver long-term results.

When Does a Paver Restoration Make Sense?

  • Existing sealer is peeling, whitening, or failing
  • Pavers have uneven, blotchy, or inconsistent appearance
  • Sealer is still present but breaking down or trapping moisture beneath the surface
  • A solvent-based sealer was previously used, preventing proper bonding of new coatings
  • Previous sealing job was done incorrectly

In these cases, sealing over the surface will not fix the problem. The pavers must be properly stripped, cleaned, and reset before applying a new sealer.

Our Full Restoration Process

We follow a detailed multi-step restoration process to fully remove failed coatings, clean the surface, and rebuild the system correctly:

  • Application of professional-grade stripper to break down and remove failed or existing sealer
  • Deep cleaning to remove residue, dirt, mold, algae, and organic growth from both the surface and joints
  • Treatment of problem areas including heavy staining and buildup
  • Removal of mineral deposits such as efflorescence, calcium, and irrigation staining
  • Neutralizing and conditioning the surface to ensure proper sealer adhesion
  • Full surface preparation to ensure pavers are clean and ready for sealing
  • Installation of joint sand to proper depth
  • Joint sand leveled evenly to create clean, uniform joint lines
  • Removal of all excess sand from the surface to ensure a clean finish
  • Application of a heavy flood coat using premium Trident sealer with antimicrobial additives to help resist mold, algae, and organic growth
  • Followed by a second coat to even out the finish and enhance durability

This process restores your pavers the right way, correcting previous issues and setting a proper foundation for long-term performance.

ATTENTION TO DETAIL

Restoration Done the Right Way

Full restoration requires more than just removing old sealer. It requires attention to detail at every step. We take the time to properly strip, clean, and prepare the surface so the new sealer bonds correctly.

Joint sand is installed evenly for clean, uniform lines, and all excess material is removed from the surface. Edges, corners, and surrounding areas are cleaned thoroughly so the job is left clean, not messy.

We don’t rush restoration jobs. Our focus is on doing the work correctly so the results last.

Why Hiring the Right Company Matters

Full paver restoration is one of the most involved services in our industry, and when done incorrectly, it can cause serious damage to surrounding areas. Pool cages, screens, glass, slider doors, painted surfaces, and nearby vegetation can all be affected if proper precautions are not taken.

Strong cleaning agents, stripping products, and sealing materials must be handled carefully and applied correctly. Without the right process and attention to detail, it’s easy for overspray, runoff, or residue to cause damage that goes far beyond the pavers themselves.

At N&T Wash and Seal, we take the time to properly protect surrounding areas and control every step of the process. From preparation to final application, our focus is not only on restoring your pavers, but doing it safely and professionally without creating problems elsewhere.

A Complete Reset for Your Pavers

The result is a fully restored surface that looks clean, uniform, and properly finished. Old, failed coatings are removed, color is brought back to life, and the pavers are protected with a properly applied sealer.

With the correct process, your pavers are better protected from mold, algae, moisture intrusion, and long-term deterioration. Instead of continuing to break down, your surface is stabilized and built to last.
